MODULE OUTLINE
Architecture Culture & History 2 a continuation of the investigation of architecture history development that began in Architecture Culture & History 1 . Lectures will provide detailed accounts of the principal developments in the Western world from the revolutionary period to the present day. Buildings will be explored with reference to major contemporary examples and the work and philosophy of significant exponents. Students will undertake a major research of a significant building, complete with investigation of the major influences that led to its development and in turn its influence in other architectural aspects.
PROJECT 1 : TIMELINE & DIAGRAM ANALYSIS
In this project, students are assigned to search for modern buildings at certain area in Kuala Lumpur. My group was assigned to research on the South-West area of KL.

REFLECTION

DIGITAL LITERACY
Through this project, I was able to gain understanding on the history of the modern buildings located at South-West of KL along with the historical timeline. I was able to have a deeper understanding of international modern style with all the physical attributes of the building being defined and analysed .
PROJECT 2 : REPORT
Students are to form a group of 5 students. The group will conduct a research and architectural analysis on a selected building. Each group will select ONE building from the given list. The group may also choose their own modern buildings around Klang Valley. Among the buildings that can be chosen are. A report should be written documenting the findings of the analysis. You may support the information using photos, sketches and diagrams as evidence.
FINAL REPORT :
REFLECTION
Through this project, I was able to have an in depth understanding of the history and concept behind the Wisma RTM building at Angkasapuri. I was able to identify all the building components and analyse the architectural elements of the building which act as an eye opener for me in increasing my inspiration as well as design influence.
