EDITING AND PRINTING POSTCARDS
22 NOVEMBER 2015
After choosing the 10 photos, I edited the photos using photoshop with the correct bleed size and trim size so that the postcards that were to be printed will be borderless.

POSTCARD PACKAGING:

After editing and arranging all the photos and description, I went to a printing shop named " Mummy Printing " just next to vision art to print my postcards. I used gloss art card to print my postcards.

Then, i started to work with my posrcard packaging. I first draw the design of the carved wood that I want. The pattern of the carved wood is similar to the ornaments on the malay house building which I have took for my postcard photo.
Then, I started to carve out the parts that I have drawn on the piece of plywood using the carving tools that I have bought.
The process of carving the wood is not simple, this is because I am just a beginner in wood carving. I have to be extra cautious not to make any mistake that will ruin my wood.
This pattern took me about 3 hours to complete as there are many curves and pointed areas to be caution about. However, I really did enjoy the whole process of carving the wood.
