Project Brief:

In this project, students were divided into groups of 5 - 6 person . The task assigned to all the students are to draw a comic strip that will bring out 5 social psychological concepts. The requirements of this project are:

1. A comic strip with a proper storyline

2. Include 5 concepts for the storyline

3. Prepare presentation slides for the comic strip

4. A group presentation on the day of submission

Reflection:

Through this project, I have learnt how to draw a comic strip with the proper techniques and requirements. Besides, I was also able to come out with an interesting storyline with my group members. The storyline we came out with had helped us in increasing our creativity in plannig a storyline which is logical and realistic.

Most importantly, I was able to gain a deeper knowledge about the 5 concepts that we have implied in our comic strip which are stereotyping, first impression, CORFing, hierachy of needs and downwards counterfactual thinking. I was able to imply all these social psychological concepts in real life scenario in the comic strip. The storyline of the comic strip reflects some real life scenario where the concepts are brought out in a factual and logical state.

Lastly, I was also able to improve my personal comunication skills through this project as the group members were not chosen by ourselves but by Mr. Shankar. I was the leader of the group. Therefore, I have also improved in my leadership skills. Besides, I also learned how to adapt in working with new people that I have never worked before.
