       Effective public communication is a  module where it introduces and delves into the basic concepts and principles in the daily application of interpersonal and group communication skills both for personal and professional development. The course components comprises models and concepts within interpersonal, group and organizational communication such as perception, listening, group decision making, leadership and conflict.

 

       This module is very important as it helps students to understand the concepts of communication, both verbal and nonverbal. It also helps students to analayze and understand how people behave and communicate in different situations. Students will be more aware of the importance of cultural differences and respect cultural differences as well as to build healthy and positive relationships with fellow students, co-workers and clients.

 

       In a nutshell, through the whole learning process of this module, students will have a brighter future ahead of them as they will be able to communicate both effeciently and effectively with other people. The knowledge of this module will come in handy when facing various kind of people with different personalities and characters. Therefore, it is very important that one treat this subject seriously as it will definitely help us in the future as an architect.
