       Through this module,  students will be exposed to a series of lectures, tutorial and study trips that teaches the basic elements of design and how they can be applied through the understanding of principle of design. In addition, students will be able to make use of the design principle taught during lectures to develop their design projects which a solid concept and reasoning for every single detail. A design is further enchanced when there ae design components like elements, principles, transfomation and many more. Therefore, it is very important that student pay attention to this module so as to train themselves to design in a proper and correct way.

 

       Furthermore, this module allows students to be exposed to the design process as well. All the process that they have gone through in each project given are to prepare studetns to face larger projects which requires more time, effort, concepts, reseach and etc. during degree. On the other hand, students will be familiarized with the design process and it will make the process of designing a thing to become much more well planned and efficient.

 

       Laslty, this module also trains the students not just to design according to own preference but wit reasonings and funtionality. This will definitely benefit the students as they are trained to produce worl that is useful and logical. In addition, this module also help in developing one's critical thinking and design skills where students have to be independent in designing their own project by carrying out their own research. Thus, this module is extremely important to help studetns to be prepared for what is going to come when entering degree.
