Landscape can be found everywhere in every places, even so, people do not pay much attention to every details of elements that made up landscapes. Therefore, in this module, students will be exposed to the elements of constructed landscape as well as learning landscape design tutored by Ms Iffa who is a Landscape Architect. In addition, this module introduces basic fundamentals on landscape architecture field with theories, basic principles and application into real work. Students will be prepared with knowledge on theoretical aspects such as landscape concept, ideas, terminologies, hardscape and softscape palette, landscape graphics and basic constructions. They will also acquire comparative studies between local and abroad for optimal understanding on respective topics. 

 

Different types of landscape will be introduced to students as well. Students will also learn basic landscape architecture drawings as a means of communication and representation of ideas. The role and importance of an Landscape Architect will be experienced through all the projects given.

 

It is very important for a future architect to have enough knowledge and experience in landscape design as landscape is one of the most important aspect to be considered when building any projects or developments.

Therefore, this subject is very important and it is to be taken seriously as it will make a difference for those who does not have experience in landscape architecture.
